Let’s call today “Motivation Monday” so I can introduce the work of Stefanie Stark. Her paintings are colorful and vibrant; the perfect backdrop for affirmations and motivational quotes like the ones below. Work like this can raise questions about what counts as art, but I subscribe to the belief that anything is art if the maker says it is. What do you think?
There is something very powerful about using the resources readily available to create. At times you may look more like a seamstress or a woodworker than other’s definition of “artist.” No matter the medium, putting care and craft into what you make will always make you an artist in my eyes!
