Starting on April 6th and continuing every weekday thereafter, Curated for Kids will highlight one artwork specifically geared towards school-aged children. I believe wholeheartedly (and research has shown) that art is a wonderful way for children to understand and interact with the world. Learning about the work that others create enhances our ability to understand and communicate in a visual language, a skill that is vital in our fast-paced world.
Each day’s post will highlight a piece of contemporary art, with a question to guide discussion and links to view more of the artist’s work. You are welcome to use these posts as a resource for learning in any capacity.
Happy Friday!
